For Today’s Showcase Custom Install we mounted a Yakima Control Tower system through the installation of (2) sets of Yakima Landing Pad 7′s. Which creates a solid mounting point for the Yakima Control Tower on any vehicle without a factory rack. The Landing Pad 7 is made for a sheet metal roof and includes “flaring” hardware. (See Below for installation instructions) Atop this system we mounted, for the customer, (2) Yakima King Cobra Bike Carriers.

This system will allow the mounting of most every Thule or Yakima accessory, such as Roof Top Bike carriers, Ski carriers, Water-sport carriers, as well as cargo bags, baskets and Cargo Boxes, and it is removable in seconds.
