For example there is no traditional clip style system designed for the Nissan Murano without the factory installed side rails.
For this installation we installed a Thule 54 inch track on the Nissan Murano. These tracks allow for the mounting of a a 430 Tracker II foot pack, a TK1 adapter kit which is used to secure the feet to the track, and a set of 58 inch Thule load bars.
This system will allow the mounting of most every Thule or Yakima accessory right out of the gate. Such as Roof Top Bike carriers, Ski carriers, Water-sport carriers, as well as cargo bags, baskets and Cargo Boxes, and in addition it is removable in seconds.
